This is POISON

Keep Glyphosate Off Your Plate

We live in a world where our health is constantly under assault from the water, the air, the food, sedentary lifestyles, and beyond. Due to this constant assault on our health it's never been more important to stay educated so that we can protect ourselves and our families from the toxins in our environment. One of the major toxins that's been shown to be a major contributor to disease is glyphosate. Keep glyphosate off your plate!

What Is Glyphosate?

You may be familiar with Monsanto's Roundup brand of herbicide that can be store bought but also has widespread usage by giant agribusiness companies. Glyphosate is the main ingredient in this widely used herbicide. Glyphosate quickly gets into the foliage and roots where it poisons and kills most plants it comes into contact with. The usage of Roundup sparked the rise of GMO crops that would be resistant to being heavily sprayed with glyphosate. This way the crops could be sprayed, and despite absorbing the toxins, the plants would live on and only the "weeds" would die.

How Can Glyphosate Affect Me?

Scientific research continues to emerge surrounding the incredible dangers this poison poses to human health. This study was conducted testing the effects of a plant to protect against the known oxidative and genetic damage caused by glyphosate. Another study showed how glyphosate functions as a neurotoxins to rats who were exposed to it, causing damage in their hippocampus and causing depressive-like behavior. Yet another study demonstrated how glyphosate directly attacked DNA, inducing DNA lesions. It is also widely known that damage to DNA is directly correlated to increased risk of cancer. This toxin is also devastating to the gut microbiome, and was even patented by Monsanto as an antibiotic. The jury is in: glyphosate is directly linked to a host of human disease.

How Do I Avoid This Poison?

Eat ONLY organic foods and ESPECIALLY avoid wheat, corn, and soy. These foods are the most heavily sprayed and contaminated with glyphosate. This may sound daunting since these are all staple foods but they can be quickly and easily replaced by alternatives such as quinoa, buckwheat, amaranth, and more. It may take a little bit of time and research to learn how to integrate these new staple foods into your diet and lifestyle but the health you and your family will enjoy is absolutely worth it.

Keep glyphosate off your plate!
